Jacques Attali and the Order of the Cannibals: the synthesis of man and computer and the emergence of cyborgs

For some readers, the name of Jacques Attali means nothing. In our time of rapid information flows, the past is quickly disappearing both from the media and from human memory. People need to be regularly reminded and explained what happened yesterday or the day before yesterday. Without this constant rewind, you will not understand what tomorrow might be.

So, here is a brief overview of the activities of the “grey eminence” Jacques Attali. You can appreciate his contribution to the rapid changes taking place in the world.

“Eminence Gray” in the service of the devil

Jacques José Mardoché Attali was born on November 1, 1943 in Algeria, along with his twin brother Bernard Attali, into a Jewish family that considers itself descendants of the Sephardim. In 1956, two years after the start of the Algerian War of Independence (1954–1962), the family moved to Paris. In 1966, Jacques graduated from the Polytechnic School. In 1972, at the age of 29, he received his doctorate in economics from the University of Paris-Dauphine. In the same year, he published his first two books: “Economic Analysis of Political Life” and “Political Models”, for which he was awarded the Academy of Sciences Prize. He taught economics at various universities from 1968 to 1985.

Almost half a century ago, a new era began in the life of Jacques. In December 1973, Attali’s close cooperation was established with the politician and statesman François Mitterrand, the future president of France. In 1981, Mitterrand was elected president and appointed Attali as his special adviser. From that moment on, Jacques Attali wrote notes every day for the President of France on a variety of issues – economics, politics, culture. They even had thoughts about the books read by Jacques. Attali was admitted to all meetings of the government, the Defense Council and was present at all meetings of Mitterrand with heads of foreign states and governments.

Jacques also collaborated with subsequent French presidents. In 2008 and 2010, then-President Nicolas Sarkozy asked him to chair a bipartisan commission that aims to propose reforms to boost France’s economic growth. In 2013, Attali promoted the concept of a positive economy in a report to President François Hollande. The ideas of the report were taken into account in the development of a new law proposed by Emmanuel Macron, Minister of Economy.

Jacques Attali actively promoted Macron, an investment banker at Rotschild & Co. The latter took the post of Minister of Economics under Hollande thanks to the petition of Attali. And later (in 2017), Macron, with the active support of Attali, became the President of France.

In 1989, Jacques Attali set about creating the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). For the sake of this, Attali during the second presidential term of Francois Mitterrand even withdrew from politics, leaving the Elysee Palace. The EBRD was established in London in 1991 and Jacques became its first president. True, in 1993 a scandal arose: Jacques Attali was accused of overspending on the construction, decoration and equipment of the EBRD building. Our hero left the bank exactly 30 years ago. Relentless and unsinkable, Attali founded the non-profit organization Positive Planet in 1998. It has expanded to France and more than 80 countries around the world, providing funding, technical assistance and advisory services to approximately 10,000 microfinance institutions. The founder and head of Positive Planet explicitly stated that that the purpose of the project is to change the world. Positive Planet is a partner of the WEF. In 2001, Attali was the subject of an investigation for allegedly “hiding company assets that were misused and trading in influence”. Attali was released from the leadership of Positive Planet on October 7, 2009. But then new projects followed, the establishment of new companies, new scandals, etc. One could write a whole book about these adventures of Jacques.

Surprisingly, in the personality of Jacques Attali, such abilities and inclinations as business coexist, a passion for writing, a passion for music, big politics, a radical reform of the socio-economic system, religions, etc.

Jacques Attali considers himself an intellectual, a philosopher. Soon the number of books written by him will reach hundreds. What is their genre? – This is basically not fiction, not pure philosophy, not futurology. Most of his books Attali calls “designing the future.” He does not hide the fact that the ideas born from his pen are called upon to be put into practice. Who and how brings these ideas to life, Attali does not disclose. But it is obvious that his ideas are adopted, first of all, by the Rothschild family. And, perhaps, on the contrary, these ideas are born in the minds of the Rothschilds, and Attali, as a press secretary, voices them.

But all his abilities and passions have some kind of Mephistophelian character. The world of the future, which Jacques Attali describes in his scientific treatises and literary works, Jacques himself and some of his admirers call “utopias”. But it’s more of a dystopia.

Something in the spirit of the “brave new world” of the English writer Aldous Huxley. And those projects for the restructuring of the world that Jacques Attali proposes can be called an “open conspiracy” which, by the way, was the name of the book by Herbert Wells, published in 1928 and containing a plan for the radical remaking of humanity.

Jacques Attali began to voice his plans for the remake of humanity from the time when he became close to Mitterrand and gained access to the leading French media. So, in 1979, a young political scientist little known to the general public, Jacques Attali, speaking on French television, outlined his shocking concept of the “dictatorship of health”. Here are excerpts from the speech:

“We will establish an absolute form of dictatorship in which everyone wishes to voluntarily (“freely”) comply with established norms. It is necessary that everyone voluntarily (“freely”) accept his status as a slave.” “This new form of totalitarian society is created with the help of medicine, accepted concepts of good and evil, attitudes towards death”.

Using the word “we”, Jacques Attali, apparently, had in mind, first of all, Francois Mitterrand and the political party headed by him.

Even then, he put forward a proposal to introduce special health passports to control people. Experts of the public organization “United World International” in their review “World-wide Fascism on the horizon? Globalist plans for 2021”, discussing the prospects for introducing such a document as the “immunity passport” in the world, noted: Jacques Attali was the first to voice the idea of such a passport.

Even more resonant was the statement voiced by Jacques Attali more than 14 years ago and after all, he was already a very famous figure then. The authoritative French magazine L’Express became the tribune of the politician. Jacques had his own column there, and on March 5, 2009, he published his “revelations” in it. Let us remind you, against the backdrop of what world events that publication took place: firstly, the global financial crisis; secondly, the epidemic of the so-called “swine flu”, which was spread to many countries.

Attali begins with such a philosophical thought:

“History teaches us that humanity develops significantly only when it is really afraid: then it begins to create protective mechanisms …”.

He laments that statesmen and politicians missed a unique opportunity to start rebuilding the world, which was provided by the global financial crisis and the swine flu epidemic. By the time the “revelations” were published, the peak of both had already been passed. Jacques Attali believes that now we must wait for the next crisis and the next epidemic, and in no case should statesmen and politicians blunder, they are obliged to start radical actions.

“The Great Pandemic is much more successful than any humanitarian or environmental sermon in convincing people of the need for altruism…” Attali considers.

Under “altruism”, as follows from the context, people’s readiness to make some kind of socio-economic sacrifices and self-restraint “in the interests of mankind” is understood.

Jacques Attali calls for “learning lessons so that before the next inevitable event, we will put in place prevention and control mechanisms, as well as logistical mechanisms for the fair distribution of medicines and vaccines. To do this, we will have to create a global police force, a global repository [ probably meaning the creation of a global centralized stock of medicines and vaccines and hence global taxation.”

And why does Jacques Attali propose to start all this? – He himself answers:

“Then we would be able to lay the foundation of a real world government much faster than if we rely solely on economic processes.”

In other words, relying on economic globalization as a path to world government is not worth it – too long and unreliable. It is better to use such fast-acting means as “pandemics” which, if needed, are not difficult to organize.

So, in 2009, world leaders “overslept” the possibility of establishing a dictatorship on the planet. But for the 2020 coronavirus, world leaders were better prepared. Covid was filed as a force majeure justifying the elimination of the remnants of human freedoms. As well as the dismantling of the “market economy”, which, according to Jacques Attali, is the “nutrient soil” for democracy. The totalitarian regime of the world elite and the dictatorship of transnational corporations are coming to replace them. Ideally, what Attali puts it, “a centralized global distributive economy” is to be created. Similar ideas were picked up by another “grey eminence” – Klaus Schwab, who published the book “Covid-19: The Great Reset” in the summer of 2020.

Attali philosophizes: in many of his books he touched on the issue of human change and came to the conclusion that a person evolves greatly. But, as it seems to this philosopher, evolution occurs too spontaneously and, it seems, in the wrong direction. She needs to be brought under control. Attali states that over the course of a long history, a person is increasingly turning into an “artifact” and an “object”. Attali likes to point out that already today some people are half prostheses. This, according to the French intellectual, is the “objective tendency” of human development. It doesn’t bother him at all. In the spirit of Klaus Schwab (Fourth Industrial Revolution), Attali welcomes the synthesis of man and computer, the emergence of the cyborg, i.e. biorobot. He does not even exclude that the result of the “objective trend” may be a 100% prosthesis. The world can do without man. Instead of a person, there will be an “artifact” and an “object”, moreover, the “correct” one. Unlike an imperfect and “wrong” person.

For some reason, Attali’s reasoning is reminiscent of of Aldous Huxley’s dystopian novel “Brave New World”. The inhabitants of the “brave new world” were products of assembly line production. Production began with extra-uterine fertilization of the egg, which was placed in a special bottle. The bottles were different. The end product that rolled off the assembly line had different characteristics. Differences were programmed even at the stage of embryos in bottles. In fact, there were several genetic codes with which it was possible to produce an elite (“alpha” caste) and lower classes (“beta”, “gamma”) down to the lowest (“delta” and “epsilon”), which already remotely resembled the usual homo sapiens.

But what are the differences in the views of Attali and Huxley on such projects for the assembly line production of humanoid creatures? That Huxley warns humanity by painting the “brave new world” as a dystopia and Jacques Attali considers this project an ideal to strive for. And in order for the project to be successful, living, non-artificial people must be killed as much as possible. Jacques Attali is the “grey eminence” who is in the service of the devil.

Cannibalism and suicide

Biographers draw attention to the proximity of Attali to the Rothschild family. Jacques Attali is also considered a pronounced bearer of the ideology of globalism, a supporter of a single world state and world government. A member of the Bilderberg Club – a gathering of various “grey eminences. Closely associated with the World Economic Forum, headed by Klaus Schwab, another “grey eminence.

Also do not forget to mention that he is a high degree Mason (presumably Illuminati). He is fond of mysticism and Kabbalah and also a Malthusian, i.e. a supporter of curbing demographic growth or even population decline on the planet. The economic views of Jacques Attali bear a pronounced imprint of Malthusianism. It is at this point in his ideology that attention needs to be drawn.

A quote is circulating on the Internet, the authorship of which is attributed to Jacques Attali:

“In the future, it will be about finding a way to reduce the population. Let’s start with the old ones, because as soon as they exceed 60-65 years, a person lives longer than he produces, and this is costly to society. Then the weak, useless, who bring nothing to society, because there will be more and more of them, and especially, finally, stupid ones … We get rid of them, forcing them to believe that it is for their own good … We will find something or call a pandemic aimed at specific people, a real economic crisis or not, a virus that affects the old or the fat, it does not matter, the weak will succumb to it, the frightened and stupid will believe in it and allow themselves to be cured. We will make sure that the treatment is provided, the treatment that will be the solution… The selection of idiots happens by itself: they go to the slaughter on their own.”

The quote is said to be taken from the book The Future of Life, published in France in 1981. This is a collection of interviews conducted by renowned French journalist Michel Salomon. Among the interlocutors of Salomon was the then young and novice Jacques Attali. Michel Salomon introduced him as follows:

” Ain a child prodigy,” the Germans would say, a child prodigy. At the age of less than forty, Jacques Attali is a world-famous economist, educator, popular political adviser to the Socialist Party and a versatile writer, authoring not only theoretical works in his discipline, but also essays in fields as diverse as politics, music and, more recently, medicine…”.

In the midst of the so-called “covid pandemic”, a large number of supporters of the so-called “honest internet” have appeared; they acted on the instructions of Microsoft, Google and other companies that carried out a “cleansing” (censorship) of the digital space of the Internet. Such guardians of the “honest Internet” stated: the above quote is not in Michel Salomon’s interview. I myself checked the fragment with the text of the collection. And I found out that there really is no such fragment in its entirety. But all the thoughts contained in the quote are present. The above fragment of the interview is a composition of several passages from what was said by the “grey eminence”. Moreover, some of Jacques Attali’s answers to Michel Salomon’s questions are even more ominous than in the constructed quote.

The reason for Salomon’s interview was Jacques Attali’s 1979 book Cannibalism and Civilization: Life and Death in the History of Medicine. Salomon asks the question: why is the economist Jacques Attali suddenly interested in health issues that seem to be far from economics? Attali replies that the West has made incredible strides in the production of goods thanks to machines. The productivity of the machine economy is breaking records. But besides the traditional production of goods, there is also the production and reproduction of man. A person is also a product of economic activity, mainly of such industries as education and health care. In the production of goods, there have long been revolutions (industrial at the turn of the 18th-19th centuries and several technological ones), but human production still remains at an antediluvian level. And in the field of human reproduction, a revolution is urgently needed.

It is necessary, in particular, to subject public health services to radical transformations. Attali laments:

“Today, medicine is in a sense not able to treat all diseases, because the costs of it become too high.”

The costs of medicine, according to Jacques Attali, can and should be reduced by replacing living doctors with machines – robots for example. Attali gives a comparison. Until recently, police officers were in great demand in Europe. Today, for the layman, laws have become a natural part of life, and the need for policemen has gradually begun to wane. There will come a time when the need for doctors will also begin to wane.

Philosophical economist Attali states in an interview that the goal of economics is the happiness of society as a whole and of each individual. A person can be happy only if he is healthy and does not get sick, does not suffer physically. You can, of course, treat a person and keep him alive. But such maintenance is still not able to return to a person the happiness that he experienced in his youth, when he was absolutely healthy. In addition, the reproduction of the life of an old and sick person is expensive for this person, and his family, and society. Such a half-dead person becomes a burden for healthy people engaged in effective work.

Jacques Attali resolutely opposes the following delusion: they say that the criterion for the progress of society is the duration of a person’s life. Increasing life expectancy is considered a sign of progress. It is necessary to maximize, according to Jacques Attali, not the life span of a person, but the duration of his healthy life. And with this approach, there would be more happiness in society, and health care costs would drop sharply. Here is an excerpt from Attali’s similar reasoning:

“If we discard cynicism, health care costs would not reach even one third of the current level (175 billion francs in 1979) if all people suddenly died in a car accident. Thus, we must recognize that the logic is no longer in increasing life expectancy, but in increasing disease-free life expectancy.”

So, Attali proposes to “optimize” a person’s life and spending on medicine and healthcare.

How to “optimize” a person’s life? – Big Brother, who should keep an eye on everyone and everything, should also continuously monitor the condition of people:

“I believe… in a hidden totalitarianism with an invisible and decentralized Big Brother. These health monitoring machines that we might have for our own good will enslave us for our own good. In a sense, we will be subject to gentle and constant monitoring of our condition … “. And all information about millions and billions of citizens will be collected and stored in centralized databases: “The discussion of prevention, health economics and good medical practice will lead to the need for each person to have a medical record that will be recorded on magnetic tape. For epidemiological reasons, all these files will be centrally stored on a computer…”.

Health care costs can be optimized by replacing diseased body parts with healthy ones. Healthy organs (spare parts) can be taken from donors or artificial parts can be produced, i.e. prostheses. The transition to treatment with prostheses will dramatically increase the productivity of physicians, which, in turn, will lead to a reduction in the number of medical personnel. The staff will not be engaged in the “repair” of diseased organs, but in their replacement with artificial ones. The production of “pieces of iron” (prostheses) will be put on stream. Prostheses, Attali believes, should become a common commodity. A person, based on the data of medical online control and his financial capabilities, decides which organ he should buy and put in place of a worn out or diseased one. Attali writes:

“The doctor is mainly replaced with prostheses, the role of which is to restore body functions, restore or replace them. If the prosthesis tries to do the same, it does so in the same way as the organs of the body, and thus becomes a copy of the organs or functions of the body. Therefore, such items would be prostheses for consumption.”

As follows from Jacques Attali’s the philosophy, a person’s life consists of two parts: the first is happy when a person is healthy. The second is when a person is constantly sick and unwell. And this part of life must be minimized, and even better – reset to zero. Such a zeroing is called euthanasia. Jacques Attali believes that the termination of a person’s life should become a legal “service”. It should be provided by the same institution that we habitually call “health care”. Over time, the center of gravity in this institute will shift from public health to human mortification. The service will be inexpensive: a simple, standard killing function can be safely transferred to robotic machines.

The question of euthanasia in the “brave new world” has been raised many times in various science fiction and dystopian novels. For example, in the dystopias of Aldous Huxley (“Brave New World”) or George Orwell (“1984”). But there the decision is made not by the person himself, but by the higher authorities (respectively, the Benefactor and the Big Brother). And in the story of the English writer Edward Forster “The car stopped” (1909), permission for euthanasia is issued by the General Council. But Attali believes that the man of the “brave new world” has the right to consciously and voluntarily decide when to depart this world. Here is one of the key parts of the interview:

“Euthanasia in all cases will be one of the most important tools of our future society. First of all, in socialist logic, the problem is this: socialist logic is freedom, and fundamental freedom is suicide; Therefore, the right to direct or indirect suicide is an absolute value in this type of society. In capitalist society, killing machines will appear and become common practice, prostheses that will make it possible to destroy life when it is too unbearable or economically too expensive. Therefore, I believe that euthanasia, whether it is a value of freedom or a commodity, will be one of the rules of the future society.”

As you can see, Jacques Attali’s right to commit suicide is universal; it should exist under both socialism and capitalism. Although Jacques Attali is primarily a financier and politician, but here he clearly wants to play the role of a philosopher, to contribute to the philosophy of suicide. It is said that this philosophical doctrine appeared in France in the 20th century. It is believed that the authors of the theory that pushes a person to suicide are Jean-Paul Sartre and Albert Camus. Of course, this diabolical “philosophy” appeared much earlier. Back in the 19th century, it was voiced by the hero of Dostoevsky’s novel “Demons”.

Another favorite theme of Jacques Attali is “cannibalism”. He compares the human body with a machine that is subject to depreciation (wear and tear). It is best to restore such a “machine” by “replacing” individual components and parts. This is called “The New Cannibalism” in his language:

“In economic language, the metaphor is clear: this is cannibalism. We consume the body.”

Attali is silent that it is not only about the “consumption” of one’s own body. To replace consumed parts of some organisms, healthy parts of others can be used, including living people. In the course of the interview, Attali repeatedly returns to the topic of cannibalism – in different eras of human history and finds a positive meaning in this phenomenon.

“Cannibalism is a huge therapeutic force”, Attali concludes.

So, for Attali, human reproduction and its utilization (euthanasia) is the leading branch of the economy. The very birth of a person is also planned and regulated by him. What Attali proposes is an organization of “human production,” much like the picture in Aldous Huxley’s dystopian novel Brave New World (1932). In this novel, the assembly line production of a person is organized.

Those who keep order in Huxley’s “brave new world” should not allow the natural birth of a person in the womb. The concepts of “marriage” and “family” are forbidden, any conversations on this topic are considered indecent and even dangerous. The freedom of sexual relations between representatives of the male and female parts of society is welcomed and even encouraged. But free, outside the assembly line, childbearing is strictly prohibited.

Jacques Attali does not have an assembly line, although genetic engineering is already being actively introduced into the process of childbearing. Jacques Attali, being a great admirer of Karl Marx, likes to use concepts from Capital. So, free from any prejudice, the men and women of the “brave new world” Attali enter into “production relations about … the birth of children.”

And children should be treated as a commodity. Attali argues that many couples would like to have two or more children. And physiologically they are able to produce a large number of children. Maybe even the state is interested in high rates of demographic growth. But there are restrictions on the part of the budgets of families and the state. But this contradiction can be overcome by giving the child the status of a “commodity” and selling it to those who have enough money for this.

With Jacques Attali, the process of child production has been streamlined. From now on, child production should be considered as part of economic activity, evaluated, regulated, controlled.

Jacques Attali argues:

“Following the logic of my general reasoning, it is impossible to understand why childbearing should not become the same economic production as any other. It is quite possible to imagine that a family or a woman is only one of the means of producing a certain object, a child. In a sense, we can imagine “rent matrices” that are already technically possible. This idea is fully consistent with economic evolution in the sense that a woman or a couple will become part of the division of labor and general production. Thus, it will be possible to buy children in the same way as buying “peanuts” or a TV set.“
