Harry Dent, the renowned author, financier, and economist, remains steadfast, reiterating his audacious claim from last December. Dent has asserted that the imminent bursting of the “bubble of all bubbles” is near and has recommended that investors pull their funds from the stock market.
Dent urges investors to recall: “The government 100% created this bubble… Entirely artificially, by injecting printed money into the economy to force it to overperform. Yet, bubbles inevitably pop, and the likelihood of that is greater than most can envision.”
In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, Dent cautioned that the “everything” bubble has not popped yet; it’s still expanding, and when it does pop, the fallout could surpass the Great Recession.
“The bubble from 1925 to 1929 was organic. It lacked any artificial stimulus. This is unprecedented. It’s never occurred before,” Dent remarked on Tuesday. “How do you handle a hangover? You drink more. That’s exactly what’s happening now.”
Injecting the economy with additional money can potentially enhance the overall economy in the long term. However, the true effects will only become apparent when the current economic bubble bursts, revealing the underlying conditions. This particular bubble has persisted for 14 years, expanding further rather than bursting. Consequently, a more significant crash than the one experienced in 2008-2009 may be anticipated.
It is projected that the S&P will decline by 86% from its peak, and the Nasdaq by 92%. Even a formidable stock like Nvidia, despite being an excellent company, is expected to plummet by 98%.
“This could spell the end of everything,” Dent emphasized.
Dent noted that we have never witnessed the government sustain an entirely artificial bubble for such an extended period—over a decade. The aftermath remains to be seen, but history shows that no major financial bubble has ever concluded without dire consequences.
Dent’s only revision to his December prediction concerns the timeline. He now forecasts that the market’s nadir will likely occur between early and mid-2025.
Dent addressed critics who labeled his analyses as “crazy” and accused him of inciting fear.
“I’m merely stating my observations, and frankly, I’m indifferent to whether people approve or not. The choice is clear: either you tell the truth or you aim to please,” he stated. “They’ve labeled me a ‘perma-bear,’ and I take that as a compliment. Looking back, the impending collapse seems all too apparent.”
He noted that many other economic bubbles weren’t as pronounced or large because the ability of central banks to create money from nothing was underestimated.
“We are the largest economy in the world, we will endure this recession. And if they print money to create bubbles, they will print money to pay off their bonds.” Dent concluded.
Like most conspiracy theorists, we have little interest in the future prices of Nvidia shares or the potential collapse of the Nasdaq. Our concerns lie elsewhere.
The power brokers who control the global economy are no less informed than Mr. Dent. Yet, they continue to postpone the unavoidable. The reasons for this are unclear.
If this were happening in a single country, the reasoning would be obvious: every interim government’s primary goal is to survive its 4-5 year term, consequences be damned. However, the financial bubble is a worldwide issue, and the financial elite have been at the helm of the global economy for a century, firmly entrenched in their positions. Despite this, they continue to drag their feet.
It appears they are awaiting an event analogous to the “end of term” for elected officials, after which the proverbial grass won’t grow. Hence, there is no effort to deflate the bubble; instead, there is a collective anticipation of its burst. The critical question for us is: when will this ‘what’ occur?
Will it be the arrival of the Anunnaki, the impact of an asteroid, or some other cataclysmic event that renders money and stocks worthless? This question is particularly intriguing considering Dent’s forecast, which suggests the bubble will burst just before the market hits rock bottom, sometime between early and mid-2025.
