Microchips, Gene Editing, Exoskeletons And More: Research Shows How Our Lives Will Change Over The Next 10 Years

A major study by the ‘Dentsu’ advertising firm, described how people will use technology to “renew” their lives and themselves over the next 10 years. The study was published on the Dentsu website and briefly described by the Daily Mail.

According to analysts, four major trends will shape our lives in the next decade.

Universal activism: people will increasingly strive for positive change in society. First of all, this will manifest itself in the fight against climate change.

The Synthetic Society: Exoskeletons, Smart Drugs, Edited Genes, and Brain Chips. In addition to changing the body for the sake of health, changes will be used for pleasure and entertainment. 32% of consumers will be inclined to have optional surgery to improve their mental health by 2030.

Larger brands: In China, for example, 40% of consumers will consider using one company for all of their vital needs by 2030, including shopping, financial services and healthcare.

Human value: By 2030, people will pay more to be served by a human or for products made without automation. It will also change the foundations of education in school, shifting the focus to so-called “human skills” – areas of creativity and compassion in which computers cannot compete with humans.

According to the research report, the timeline of major events until 2030 will look like this:
