Taiwanese singer-actress Vivian Hsu recently revealed that she had a paranormal encounter while filming a new movie with Simon Yam.
According to Jayne Stars website, the actress revealed that while shooting a new thriller in Shanghai in November last year, she experienced several haunting incidents that really scared her.
It was reported that on the first day of their shooting at a cemetery, Vivian was in her car, chatting with her friend via her mobile phone. However, in the middle of conversation, her friend heard an odd man’s voice in the recording despite the fact that there was no one else in the car at that moment except for Vivian and her female assistant.
However, the actress revealed that the most frightening experience happened in her hotel room. Vivian, who has a habit of playing her electrical keyboard before she retires to bed, was playing the song “Xing Bu Liao Qing”, when the light bulbs in the room slowly grow dimmer by itself.
“It only happened to this song. The lights in the room were perfectly fine when I played other songs.”
Nevertheless, after a few days, Vivian returned to the room with talismans to exorcise the spirits. However, the light bulbs in the room kept flickering, frightening the actress to the extent that she immediately demanded to change her room.
The actress stated that she did not sleep well after this whole experience and had invited a monk from a Shanghai monastery to pray for her.
“After the incident, I asked my manager for more comedy and light-hearted movies in the future!” the actress stated.
