Any prediction of future events carries a certain degree of likelihood. This case is no different; considering the available evidence and developing trends, it is probable that it will occur.
We were ushered to the front line discreetly, without any declaration of the primary objective.
We are addressing the critical issue of the planet’s population’s existence, nothing less. Soon, humanity may transition from conventional food products to surrogates—substitutes engineered with the aid of artificial intelligence. For brevity, we will refer to these as nutritious paste (NP), and those who choose to consume it as paste-eaters (P-eds).
The media relentlessly promotes questionable dogmas and narratives somehow linked to the challenge of feeding people. They remain disparate, biding their time to act at the opportune moment. What exactly are these dogmas?
Animals deserve empathy, and acts of cruelty and inhumanity are deplorable, often clashing with religious teachings.
The advantages of vegetarianism and veganism are notable.
The methane emitted by animals contributes to the destruction of the ozone layer and exacerbates the greenhouse effect.
Feeding the entire population is a challenge, necessitating the creation of alternative food sources from materials like oil and insects.
For many, the cost of genuine meat, offal, butter, and milk is becoming prohibitively expensive.
NP can be molded to perfectly replicate various items. Generally, people prioritize satisfaction, safety, and attractive packaging over the content of their food.
NP is seen as crucial for the advancement of humanity, especially for space exploration endeavors such as interplanetary and intergalactic travel.
Events will unfold routinely, without any notable surprises, as if naturally occurring. This is the intended design of the program. It relies on the second law of dialectics, which is beyond debate and skepticism.
To reiterate, it posits that the accumulation of quantity will inevitably transform into quality. Thus, the continual buildup of propaganda in people’s minds will, at a certain point, trigger a virtual switch, leading to the onset of a radically different existence.
It’s on the rise
Recently, the European Union sanctioned the use of flour made from dried mealworms in food products, followed by the addition of crickets. Now, reports indicate that Singapore has authorized the consumption of 16 insect species. This list notably includes crickets, grasshoppers, locusts, mealworms, honey bees, and silkworms.
The publication of this directive permits the importation of insects and their derivatives for human consumption. We are convinced that this is just the beginning. Why stop at 16? Why not 100, or even 1000? With such diversity, the global issue of hunger could well be on its way to a solution.
There is an exception to every rule
To enhance the accuracy of predicting future events, it is crucial to revisit another principle of the same dialectic. Specifically, Hegel’s dialectic includes the law of negation of negation, which posits that development proceeds in a spiral, repeating the same phenomena at different developmental stages.
Examining historical parallels can help us envision future outcomes. Consider the scenario 30-40 thousand years ago, when primitive humans, particularly Neanderthals, faced significant challenges. They encountered a food shortage, particularly in the supply of mammoth meat to their tribes.
Typically, these early humans followed and hunted the mammoth herds. However, due to partially understood reasons such as climate change, food scarcity, overhunting, and diseases, mammoths began to decline.
During this historical era, Homo sapiens, our ancestors, emerged. Scientists have discovered that both they and the Neanderthals shared a common ancestor, the Heidelberg man. The question arises: why did one lineage thrive while the other faded into extinction?
The consensus among scientists points to competition as the primary cause. Moreover, Neanderthals did not adapt their traditional lifestyle, particularly regarding diet. They did not actively pursue agile prey like rabbits, saigas, and other small game, preferring instead to rely on mammoth meat. They did chase them, albeit half-heartedly.
A little about Neanderthals
“Despite the fact that Neanderthals were considered primitive and cruel creatures, contrary to popular belief, they were a complex and intelligent species that used tools and were capable of a wide range of actions requiring mental abilities for deduction and reasoning.” (Wikipedia)
The consensus among many archaeologists is that Neanderthals were not less intelligent than our ancient ancestors. In fact, the ratio of brain mass to body mass was even more favorable for them. They were simply different, with unique characteristics. Moreover, they have left an indelible mark on our genome. There are indications that modern humans carry remnants of this extinct lineage, evident in certain traits and physical features. However, that is a subject for another discussion.
Indeed, Neanderthals did not vanish within a few hundred years. They persisted for many centuries, though their birth rates and population numbers gradually dwindled to none. It is worth taking a moment to recognize that Neanderthals succumbed to their inability to adapt to the changing world around them.
And what about us? What will happen to us?
In ancient times, people were wholly reliant on the elemental forces of nature and its bounty. Today, industrial capacity and the regulations governing its use are the primary factors. Consider what would occur if the Internet, electricity, gas, and water were suddenly and permanently disabled.
The outcome would be dire. Moreover, even without such drastic measures, manipulation is possible. For instance, large corporations could cease the supply of traditional meat and dairy products to stores and markets, initially substituting them with flour beetles and locusts, and eventually with a uniform nutritional paste synthesized from fossil fuels.
Fundamentally, humanity is approaching a crossroads: to preserve its essence or to transform into ‘P-eds.’ As history has shown, a division into two factions is imminent. Presently, private farmers striving to provide healthy food are facing increasing pressure. Initially, there will be resistance, but the struggle will be imbalanced.
Year by year, the challenge of surging costs, rigorous inspections, negative portrayal, and media slander will intensify. Proponents of traditional diets may resort to clandestinely rearing livestock to sustain themselves. However, they will eventually be exposed, penalized, and incarcerated. They may retreat to the seclusion of forests and uninhabited mountain regions to evade civilization. Over time, it is predicted that only ‘P-eds’ will inhabit the earth.
Their appearance will be different from ours
Just as modern humans, despite their external resemblance to Neanderthals, have distinct differences, so too will the P-eds gradually develop features that are atypical for us. Initially, they will no longer require teeth, which will only present unnecessary complications. Initially, teeth will be removed in dental clinics, and eventually, their development will be prevented through genetic engineering. Even if left unaltered, the process of becoming vestigial cannot be halted. Ultimately, they will all become toothless over time.
What is the hidden agenda behind this?
Major market players are drawn to such prospects as if to honey. The allure is clear: significantly lower costs, no need for extensive land, fewer staff, and robotic production. While a mechanical electric dog may not replace a shepherd, it’s simpler to do away with the herd altogether.
Initially, food prices may drop to entice consumers, but over time, they will return to their former levels and rise further. This cycle will persist until a new enticement emerges, offering even lower-priced products, regardless of their synthesis.
The next turn will surprise you even more
Certainly, the pursuit of optimized nutrition will persist. Pastes will give way to advanced super gels. P-eds will evolve into G-eds. Next, they’ll address body size. Since taller individuals consume more energy, they’ll need to be made shorter. They’ll employ established genome editing techniques to reduce their stature. Physical strength will become obsolete, with robots taking over in all sectors, including the military.
It’s challenging to foresee what other optimizations they’ll deem necessary, and perhaps it’s not crucial. For instance, they might restrict the growth of hair and nails, or reduce sensory organs to a single eye and ear. Consequently, these super G-eds will appear markedly different. Picture arriving in the future to be greeted by a toothless, diminutive cyclops with a receding jaw. On sighting you, he would likely flee and alert the authorities. What other reaction could there be?
What will they write about us in their textbooks?
Strictly speaking, the information would simply be entered into a carrier. Now, imagine a young man sitting on Proxima Centauri, deciding to study our historical era, activates the device, and sees this:
“In that era, planet Earth was inhabited only by animals and barbarians. The latter were muscular, towering up to 180 cm and above. They were merciless egoists, displaying aggression towards their environment. They possessed teeth designed for consuming animals, which they bred and caged to indulge their gluttonous desires. They categorically rejected plant-based diets.
Often, these individuals would hide from law enforcement in forests and mountains, where they continued to consume meat and crafted clothing and accessories from animal hides. Documented instances show that animal skins were stretched over drums, and they danced to the rhythmic beats. Frequently, this occurred in the same venues where they consumed animals. Overall, they were savages, marginally more evolved than their primitive ancestors and primates.”
Conclusions from the above
We should not concern ourselves with the opinions of these gods. The essential point is to concentrate on what truly matters:
Every individual has the ability to contribute to the battle against the impending NP era or at least postpone its arrival.
Be wary of propaganda. If claims that insects, worms, and other offal are beneficial arise, promptly disengage from the conversation or shut the advertisement.
Opt for food products free from additives, such as gels and harmful chemicals, and those not exceeding safe levels of hormones and vaccines. Alternatively, rely on trusted vendors, farmers, and private households for your food sources.
Keep in mind that consuming a chicken leg or a cutlet from natural meat deals a considerable setback to the burgeoning category of P-foods.
