The Simpsons predicted a war in Kosovo in the fall of 2023, US journalist Natalie Morris said on Redacted News. She saw the prophecy in the 2005 episode Home Away from Homer.

“Kosovo. Have you seen this Simpsons meme predicting war between Kosovo and Serbia in the fall of 2023? Looks ominous,” said Morris.

Interestingly, the footage also shows a couple in love kissing behind barbed wire. This combination symbolically alludes to tensions and conflict between people. It seems that The Simpsons writers have prepared the audience for something more.

What is striking is that the scenario from 2005 corresponds to the reality of autumn 2023. Morris couldn’t help but share her discovery with the audience, stating:

“Kosovo. Have you seen this Simpsons meme predicting war between Kosovo and Serbia in the fall of 2023? Looks ominous.”

In addition, the journalist also drew attention to another poster, which already advertised the Oppenheimer movie. It is interesting to note that a movie with the same name did indeed appear in theaters recently. Does The Simpsons have access to information about future movie premieres?

On July 21, two of the most anticipated films of 2023 will hit the screens: about the Barbie doll and the creator of the atomic bomb. Thanks to this, a whole phenomenon about a contradictory reality was born online – this is Barbenheimer’s Day. “Barbie” by Greta Gerwig and “Oppenheimer” by Christopher Nolan are as different as possible: in the first picture, the viewer is waiting for a romantic comedy with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, in the second – a noir drama about the developer of an atomic bomb with a recreation of a nuclear explosion without computer graphics.

At the end of May, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic ordered the country’s Armed Forces to be brought to a state of maximum combat readiness due to the situation in the self-proclaimed republic of Kosovo. Defense Minister Milos Vucevic confirmed the urgent advance of the army to the administrative border with Kosovo.

Let’s not forget that the prophecies from The Simpsons have proven to be true more than once. Morris reminded viewers of the incident with the bathyscaphe that sank on the way to the Titanic, which was also predicted in one of the cartoon episodes. This confirms that the The Simpsons writers have some amazing flair that allows them to see into the future.

Fans of the series remembered the scene where Homer, along with his father, went scuba diving to the sunken ship. While being at the deep sea, the main character realized that something terrible had happened. He was running out of oxygen and began to choke.

In the series finale, Homer wakes up in a hospital surrounded by his family. He spent three days in a coma.

One of the show’s writers, Mike Reiss, actually sailed on the Titan submersible to the Titanic.

The first episode of The Simpsons was released in 1989. This is one of the longest-running series on American and world television.

Fans of the series believe that The Simpsons is cooler than Nostradamus: their creators managed to predict events that no one else had ever thought of. Although the creators, most likely, simply understood very well that one of the main properties of our life is unpredictability.
