A retired United States Air Force (USAF) general suggested that three innovative forms of technology are ready to be developed by the United States Space force.
Steven L. Kwast spent 33 years in the Air Force, with over 3,300 flight hours and 650 combat hours during Operation Desert Shield, Desert Storm and more.
He retired from the military earlier this year, but still has an interest in them – especially in the Space Force.
The Space Force is the sixth branch proposed by the USAF, and US President Donald Trump has previously said it expects it to be established by 2020.
He had his fair share of critics, with an expert previously telling the Daily Star Online that militarization of space could lead to World War III.
But Kwast believes the technological improvements available to the Space Force far outweigh its negatives.
Speaking at a lecture at Hillsdale College in Michigan (which was posted on YouTube on December 5th – he said:
The technology is on the engineering benches today.
But most Americans and most members of Congress have not had time to really look deeply at what is going on here.
But I’ve had the benefit of 33 years of studying and making friends with these scientists.
This technology can be built today with technology that is not developmental.
There are three specific advances that can happen, Kwast said:
Deliver any human being from any place on Earth to any other place on Earth in less than hour.
Provide wifi from space where you don’t need a cell tower to connect.
Provide energy from space where you won’t need to plug your phone in and it trickles charges and you can use that energy over time.
Such improvements “will change world power forever,” the military man added.
Many conspiracy theorists believe the Space Force crafts have already been seen in the skies above the US, despite not being an official organisation.
Bruce Gagnon – head of an anti-Space Force organization – told Daily Star Online that many of the UFOs seen across the country “could be the military’s new Space Force craft that they’ve built using a secret military budget”.
