Geopolitics and finance expert Charles Nenner warns of a massive war, a Great Depression akin to that of 1929, and a market crash in 2025 during an interview.
The situation is expected to worsen quickly, particularly if the U.S. permits Ukraine to employ Western weaponry to hit deep within Russian territory.
The coalition formed by China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran must be considered. Thus, if the West opposes this alliance, it stands little chance of prevailing, as they are purportedly stronger and more driven.
While we are busy identifying our soldiers as male, female, straight, gay, or non-binary, our existence may be threatened. The West is essentially sabotaging itself, according to Charles Nenner.
He also suggests that a domino effect might result from the escalating tensions in the Middle East.
“After Israel strikes Hezbollah, it will probably rain bombs, and Iran may be involved, so the US will be forced to intervene, which will have big consequences.
Looking at stock markets in the Middle East, you can see that something dangerous is brewing, so let’s prepare for the worst-case scenario. The average Western citizen has no idea what awaits him,” says Nenner.
In his earlier analysis, Nenner underscored the risk of the entire Mediterranean Sea becoming a battleground. He identified Hezbollah in Lebanon, along with Iran and Turkey, as central figures in a potential escalation of conflict with Israel. Residing on the border with Lebanon in northern Israel, Nenner shared these insights with USAW.
“The children here haven’t been to school for a year, and they’re hitting us with rockets day and night – it’s a very strange situation. What I don’t understand is that the Arab resistance, led by Iran, did not see what happened in Gaza. If the same happens, Lebanon will disappear from the map. How do I know these things? I know these things because I work with many governments around the world.
In the 1960s, a conflict resulted in the division of Cyprus, with the northern part coming under Turkish control. Presently, Turkey is unlikely to approve of Israel utilizing Cypriot airports. Should this occur, it could lead to Turkey taking over the entirety of Cyprus due to its support for Hamas and Hezbollah. Such an event might trigger a conflict between Greece and Turkey, potentially drawing Iran into the fray. With significant naval forces moving towards Israel, it is anticipated that the United States will become involved.”
Market Crash
Regarding the financial cycle, Nenner cautions about a downturn akin to the Great Depression of 1929, likely to occur in 2025.
“We are currently in a severe recession, yet its full impact is not yet apparent due to a delay of a few quarters… However, it will become evident in the data.
The indicator to watch is the yield curve of US yields.
Once it shifts to positive, the crash will be imminent. Consequently, I have adopted a completely defensive stance on stocks and, more recently, on US bonds as well.”
“I also believe the dollar will underperform. As bond yields increase, they pose a risk; long-term interest rates are likely to rise, partly because China is selling off U.S. Treasuries.
Despite the recent downturn, I anticipate that inflationary pressures will mount once more, affecting oil, gas, and grain prices. It is important to recognize that the dollar is expected to weaken.
Investors should brace for a potential sell-off in the near future—many may find themselves disheartened.”
Armageddon will start in the Middle East
The Israeli Air Force has initiated one of its most significant airstrikes on Lebanon since the conclusion of the 2006 Lebanon War. The official press service of the Israeli army has confirmed the commencement of the operation, stating that the strikes targeted areas in southern Lebanon, particularly positions held by Hezbollah militants.
An Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson stated that the airstrikes in Jerusalem are intended to dismantle Hezbollah’s infrastructure and incapacitate its militants. The IDF’s primary targets include military bases, arms storage facilities, and command centers of the organization.
According to Israeli reports, the bombings were premeditated and serve as a retaliation to the heightened tensions in the Middle East.
A few days ago, Lebanon experienced multiple device explosions, which were linked to bombers utilized by Hezbollah fighters. It is suspected that the Mossad, Jerusalem’s intelligence agency, orchestrated these explosions.
It is understood that if the tension between the two parties is not alleviated, more severe consequences may ensue. Analysts and military experts have long warned of the dire outcomes a full-scale conflict between Israel and Hezbollah might bring. Hezbollah is deemed the world’s most formidable terrorist group currently, possessing thousands of missiles, rockets, drones, and a vast number of personnel.
As Lebanon-Israel war looms, Syria targeted for nuclear facility in Deir ez-Zor
Israeli officials have formally accused Syrian authorities of constructing a clandestine facility, allegedly intended for plutonium production.
Israeli representatives allege that these activities are supported by Iran amidst escalating worries about Tehran’s nuclear ambitions.
At a conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna, Moshe Endri, the chief of Israel’s Atomic Energy Commission, claimed that Syria is constructing an undeclared nuclear facility in Deir ez-Zor with substantial assistance from Iran. He emphasized that the facility is focused on producing plutonium, which is a material used in manufacturing nuclear weapons.
Israel is probably preparing a military operation to strike Syrian territory
Israel has been engaged in a covert “shadow war” with Iran, operating on Syrian and Lebanese territories.
Israel has consistently employed “shadow” tactics, primarily targeting Iranian military personnel without officially acknowledging these actions.
In response, Iran has utilized proxies like Lebanon’s Hezbollah, Yemen’s Houthis, Hamas, and other armed factions in Syria and Iraq to strike against Israel.
The deployment of Iranian Guards within the region, coupled with schemes targeting Israeli military infrastructure, is likely to prompt imminent Israeli airstrikes.
The situation in the area is volatile, and it appears we are on the brink of a conflict that could eclipse previous encounters in the Middle East.
