The “Mark of the Beast,” as mentioned in the Book of Revelation, represents a core issue in Christian eschatology. Numerous interpretations exist for the “Mark of the Beast,” with digital interpretations being among the most prevalent today.
Indirectly, this interpretation is supported by Muslim eschatology, where the Antichrist is named Dajjal, a name that resonates with the word “digital.” Consequently, some eschatologists believe that the Antichrist could be akin to Skynet or a similar entity.
Moreover, it appears that Walid Shoebat has been advocating an alternative interpretation for many years, which has recently resurfaced as people remembered and digitized a VHS video containing this version.
Walid, a former Muslim who embraced Christianity, is well-educated and knowledgeable about Islam in its true essence. He states the following.
For instance, the Fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse is described as riding a “pale horse,” while the original term is “chloros,” meaning pale green. The translation contains numerous errors in pronouns and geography. While this version may be suitable for teaching in schools, scholars require more precise texts.
A more accurate New Testament rendition is the King James Bible, dated 1611, which is referenced by American and British eschatologists. However, it is clear that the original New Testament was not written in English in 1611.
Pursuing this line of thought, Shoebat acquired the Vaticanus Codex, one of the oldest New Testament manuscripts. Interestingly, the Greek notation for the number “666” in this text is the same as the spelling for the word “ALLAH.”
We are not in a position to determine the accuracy of Shoebat’s interpretation; however, if it holds true, it would significantly alter the sequence of eschatological events.
The prevailing interpretation among some American evangelists of the Apocalypse posits that the New World Order will represent the kingdom of the Beast. In this scenario, Bill Gates’ creations are thought to assume and instrumental role of the “Mark of the Beast,” and the Beast is believed to govern the world via a portal associated with CERN or similar entities.
There is also the Chinese version of the Apocalypse, where either Xi or his land will act as the Antichrist. Before that, the Chinese, of course, will have to conquer everyone.
The concept of an Islamic version of the kingdom of the Antichrist, such as the Taliban conquering the world and imposing their will, is not taken seriously today and is considered far-fetched.
If tomorrow a new pandemic hits the world, which selectively begins to mow down Asians and, then the world will end up with a couple of billion Africans or the same number of Arabs, Turks, Persians, Tajiks and so on.
In other words, if tomorrow the Indo-Europeans either all die out, only the newborn Dajjal, that is, Artificial Intelligence, will remain in the world, except for the Chinese. And then the great battle will begin, which Dajjal’s followers will simply crush in numbers and build their own caliphate, against which any similar regime will seem like a model of justice and order.
After that, all the hope of world peace will be only on Xi with his 200-million-strong army of miracle heroes, although, of course, we would not bet on him.
