Mayan calendar points to 2020? 1

8 years after the gloomy date of December 21, 2012, for which the Mayans promised the Apocalypse, fears of the expectations of the End of the World revived again. And the problem, as it turned out, is in calendars according to Express

Today, the Gregorian calendar is considered generally accepted. It was introduced by Pope Gregory XIII in the Catholic countries on October 4, 1582 to replace the former Julian. The difference between the calendars was 11 days, after the removal of which, it turned out to more accurately reflect the time that the Earth takes to revolve around the Sun.

However, not everyone liked this idea and in many European countries, in particular in Britain, in London, there were riots with the demand to return the “stolen 11 days”.

These days have indeed been stolen. Moreover, they continue to steal every year.

Scientist Paolo Tagaloguin explains in his post:

“The number of days lost in a year due to the shift into Gregorian calendar is 11 days. For 268 years using the Gregorian calendar (1752–2020) times 11 days = 2948 days. 2948 days / 365 days (per year) = eight years.”

His post is not one of a kind. Many people involved in the topic, write:

“When the world switched to the Gregorian calendar in the 1700s, we lost about eight years in translation. So technically yes, it’s 2012 now.”

Eight years ago, Doomsday fears were triggered by the false assumption that the Mayan calendar predicts the end of the world on December 21, 2012. This date was regarded as the end date of the 5126-year cycle in the Mesoamerican calendar, which scientists translated into the generally accepted Gregorian. But if the Gregorian calendar considers the days wrong, then the translation of the Mayan date loses all meaning.

As an older and therefore more correct researchers, the Ethiopian calendar is proposed, used by the Ethiopian and Eritrean churches. It is based on the Coptic calendar, which, in turn, is based on the Egyptian.

Today, the difference between the Ethiopian and Gregorian calendars is 8 years. The count of years in the Ethiopian calendar begins on August 29, 8 A.D. e. according to the Julian calendar. Thus, we entered the new millennium on this calendar on August 29, 2008, and now we have the year 2012, as it were.

Researchers for this date offer all kinds of astronomical and geological explanations, as well as numerological formulas that offer different scenarios of the End of the World, as well as the date of its implementation.

According to these data, we are expected:

The coming of God. He will share his knowledge with all people. It is curious that Nostradamus “predicted” the arrival of the Antichrist this year.

Terrible natural disasters fall on the whole planet. A similar prophecy is made by many foretellers of the past and the present, or maybe some of them wrote it off from others?

Many volcanoes will wake up in the USA and after this earthquakes and tsunamis will sweep across the world.

America will continue to intervene in other countries, but Russia will be respected throughout the world.

We are waiting for the approach of an asteroid, which will adversely affect our planet. This will cause natural disasters.

2020 is a year of discovery. But these are not always positive changes.

As scenarios, we also propose the interaction between the Earth and a supermassive black hole in the center of the galaxy, the collision of the Earth with the mythical planet Nibiru, the pole shift, which passes through the Mayan cycles and so on.

In general, if you read other predictions on the Internet, then in a suspicious way they look similar to each other. Some, are written off as a carbon copy. We always imagine how workers sit in their offices and collectively come up with a horoscope and predictions. The rest are looking forward to when a bright head tosses a fresh little idea, which would slightly redo and attribute authorship to the next soothsayer.

Nevertheless, with the date of the End of the World, researchers have no unanimity and the only thing that is clear: now the calendar year is 2012 and the approximate date is May 25th. Therefore, if all these calculations are correct and the End of the World really happens, then it will not be earlier than in December.
