In just 24 hours, the United States entered a state of the most powerful domestic political crisis since the Civil War. The situation has caused a strong stir in the information space, where a second civil war outbreak is expected in the United States.
It all started a little earlier when Texas Governor Abbott ordered the state’s national guard to set up wire fences on the border with Mexico. Biden demanded that this decision be reversed. Abbott sent him. Then Biden sent federal border guards to remove the wire.
Texas became excited and publicly exclaimed: “Come and take it!”
Abbott accused Biden of violating the constitution and announced that the state of Texas has the right to defend itself with armed force – from foreign invasion.
And then everything started to spin in such a way that it became completely impossible to predict the development of events and their consequences.
Twenty-five states have said they support Texas (Texas is currently the 26th out of 50). 25 governors released an official statement:
“President Biden and his administration have left Americans and our country completely vulnerable to an unprecedented surge of illegal immigration across the southern border. Instead of upholding the rule of law and securing the border, the Biden administration has targeted and sued Texas for taking action to protect American citizens from historic levels of illegal immigrants, deadly drugs like fentanyl, and terrorists. infiltrating our country. “We stand with our fellow Governor Greg Abbott and the State of Texas in using all tools and strategies, including barbed wire fences, to secure the border. We are doing this in part because the Biden Administration is refusing to enforce immigration laws that already exist and is illegally allowing mass paroles across America of migrants who entered our country illegally. “The authors of the U.S. Constitution made it clear that in times like these, states have the right of self-defense under Article 4, Section 4 and Article 1, Section 10, Clause 3 of the United States Constitution. Because the Biden Administration has abandoned its constitutional obligations to the states, Texas has every legal basis to defend the sovereignty of our states and our nation.” Signatories include: Governor Kay Ivey (AL), Governor Mike Dunleavy (AK), Governor Sarah Sanders (AR), Governor Ron DeSantis (Florida), Governor Brian Kemp (Georgia), Governor Brad Little (Idaho), Governor Eric Holcomb (Indiana), Governor Kim Reynolds (Iowa), Governor Jeff Landry (Louisiana), Governor Tate Reeves (Mississippi), Governor Mike Parson (Missouri), Governor Greg Gianforte (Montana), Governor Jim Pillen (New York), Governor Joe Lombardo (Nevada), Governor Chris Sununu (New Hampshire), Governor Doug Burgum (North Dakota), Governor Mike DeWine (Ohio), Governor Kevin Stitt (Oklahoma), Governor Henry McMaster (South Carolina), Governor Kristi Noem (South Dakota), Governor Bill Lee (Tennessee), Governor Spencer Cox (Utah), Governor Glenn Youngkin (Virginia), Governor Jim Justice (West Virginia) and Governor Mark Gordon (Wyoming).
During an interview with Newsmaxx, Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt openly said that the possibility of an armed clash between the state National Guard and federal troops is now possible and very real, as the southern states of America began to mobilize their National Guard to help Texas against the federal government led by the US President Joe Biden.
The states that have joined the new Confederacy (they are already saying so) create a parallel army, which is subordinate only to the states, but not to the federals. Here is an assessment of the military potential of these states:
The number of Confederate forces is 102 thousand people, out of 209,800, almost half the forces of the US National Guard. And this number does not take into account paramilitary organizations, rifle associations, military enthusiasts and simply armed people. Conservative states are much more heavily armed and better prepared than liberal states.
House Speaker Mike Johnson also announced he would support Texas.
And today, Texas has officially entered a state of war – the governor activated Article 1 of Section 10, Paragraph 3 of the US Constitution, which allows you to declare martial law in the state and act without regard to the federal government.
Trump called on any willing state governors to deploy their National Guard to Texas and bring illegal immigrants back across the border.
Illinois Sheriffs Refuse to Enforce “Unconstitutional” Gun and Ammunition Ban MOUNT VERNON, Ill. – Jefferson County Sheriff Jeff Bullard has joined scores of other sheriffs and prosecutors refusing to enforce the so-called “Illinois Community Protection Act” that just took effect. into force after it was passed through the state legislature and signed into law by the Democratic majority and Gov. J.B. Pritzker. According to local news outlet KSDK, Bullard told reporters: From my point of view from the case law, I found it to be illegal or prima facie invalid. My office will not take any action on this matter. Law Enforcement Today noted that the sheriff was joined by his colleague, Sangamon County Sheriff Jack Campbell, who noted: One of my main concerns is how exactly this will make this community safer.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has accused the Biden administration of partnering with cartels in a pay-per-person scheme to smuggle people across the southern border into the United States.
Governor Abbott did exactly the right thing, and I will bring him more barbed wire from South Dakota if necessary to help him do his job, said South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem.
She did this while arguing on air with John Kirby, the strategic communications coordinator for the US National Security Council. Lately, in public, he looks more and more confused and helpless every day; if you carefully watch the videos of his performances, you will notice a hard clamp in the shoulder girdle, the first sign of self-doubt. (And this is a retired rear admiral, by the way.)
To top it all off, Republicans decided to make Trump the official presidential candidate without holding primaries in states where they had not yet taken place. This completely defeats the attempt to block Trump’s candidacy by banning him (at the state level) from participating in the primaries.
The previous Civil War began somewhat calmer for them.
M2 Bradley armored vehicles of the Texas National Guard are headed for the border
The National Guard is carrying out the orders of the Governor of the State Greg Abbott who “for the good of the country which is the supreme law” rejected Biden’s order.
The result was Federal Border Agents refusing to arrest Texas National Guard soldiers and announcing that they had “no plans” to remove the barbed wire along the southern border.
At the same time, the 25 States sent 102,000 National Guardsmen to Texas in one day to help the more than 200,000 Texans who have been recruited by Governor Abbott.
