A mysterious silver disk hovering in the sky. A shadow cast on the Earth below. A seasoned U.S. intelligence officer standing behind the image. This might sound like the setup for a sci-fi movie, but it’s a real story making waves in the UFO community.

Luis Elizondo, the former director of the Pentagon’s secretive Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), has once again stepped into the spotlight—this time presenting what he claims is undeniable visual evidence of an unidentified flying object: a classic “flying saucer.”

But is the image proof of alien technology… or just another elaborate misrepresentation?

The Man Behind the UFO Revelations

From 2007 to 2012, Elizondo led AATIP, a once-classified Pentagon initiative funded by the U.S. government to investigate unexplained aerial phenomena—what most of us know simply as UFOs. During his tenure, the program compiled reports of strange craft exhibiting flight capabilities that seemed to defy the known laws of physics—instant acceleration, sharp right-angle turns, and hypersonic speeds with no visible means of propulsion.

Now retired from government service, Elizondo has become a prominent public advocate for UFO disclosure. He regularly testifies before Congress, gives media interviews, and shares new evidence that he claims supports the existence of advanced non-human technology.

The “Silver Saucer” That Caused a Storm

In 2021, Elizondo unveiled a dramatic image—what appears to be a silver, disk-shaped object floating low above a field in the Four Corners region of the United States, where Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah meet.

According to Elizondo, the photo was taken by a civilian pilot at an altitude of approximately 7 kilometers. He claims the saucer spans between 20 and 33 meters in diameter and casts a visible shadow, suggesting it was physically present rather than a digital artifact.

He further alleges that this is just one of hundreds of such images being withheld from the public by the Department of Defense, hinting at a massive, ongoing government cover-up.

Pilots Affected by Encounters? Microwave Burns and Nervous System Damage Alleged

In a chilling detail, Elizondo also claimed to have interviewed fighter pilots who directly engaged with unidentified aerial phenomena. Several of them, he says, experienced physical trauma, including burns akin to microwave radiation exposure and neurological effects that led to hospitalization.

A former AATIP medical report allegedly noted:

“Medical tests, while not requiring alternative biophysics, indicate exposure to unconventional and advanced energy systems.”

These revelations paint a disturbing picture: if these craft are real, they might not only exist beyond our comprehension but could also pose a biological threat to humans.

Experts Cry Foul: Is the Image a Manipulated Irrigation Field?

Soon after the image went viral, internet sleuths and photo analysts began to dig deeper. And what they found could undermine Elizondo’s credibility.

Using Google Earth, several users pinpointed the exact location in Colorado—confirming that the mysterious “disk” and its “shadow” perfectly align with two circular agricultural irrigation fields. Critics pointed out that the image had been slightly altered to separate the darker circle from the lighter one, making it look like a shadowed object floating in the sky.

The pattern of roads in the image also matches the layout available on Google Maps, suggesting the photo was not captured mid-air but was a manipulated satellite image.

Déjà Vu: Elizondo’s History of Misleading UFO Claims

This isn’t the first time Elizondo has come under fire for questionable evidence. In a previous case, he presented a photo claiming it was an alien mothership, only for experts to later determine that it was a chandelier reflection on a window.

Such blunders have fueled suspicions among UFO debunkers and skeptics, some of whom argue that Elizondo is intentionally misleading the public—either for personal gain or as part of a deeper psychological operation aimed at discrediting legitimate UFO research.

But Not All UFO Images Have Been Debunked

Despite the controversy surrounding Elizondo’s latest photo, not all suspicious aerial images have been proven fake.

In 2017, a strange disk-like object appeared in a Google Earth image of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory near Los Angeles. The saucer-like shape, which cast a shadow on a nearby runway, raised eyebrows. The same object—or one very similar—was later spotted in a field near a waterway, leading some to speculate it might be an advanced terrestrial aircraft being tested in secret.

Years earlier, virtual archaeologist Joseph P. Skipper uncovered another “saucer” image—this time near Area 51, the U.S.’s most infamous secret military base. The metallic disk, about 50 meters wide, appeared to hover just above ground level. With a reflective surface and a dome on top, the craft bore striking similarities to traditional UFO descriptions.

Could these sightings be connected? Are they evidence of reverse-engineered alien technology, or just advanced black-budget aircraft the government refuses to acknowledge?
