The meat producer BrucePac has issued a recall for over 9 million pounds of ready-to-eat meat and poultry products amid concerns of potential listeria contamination, as announced by the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service on Wednesday.
BrucePac, located in Durant, Oklahoma, is recalling approximately 9,986,245 pounds of these products, which were produced between June 19, 2024, and October 8, 2024.
The recalled items were shipped to various establishments and distributors nationwide before being distributed to restaurants and other institutions, the agency reported.
The contamination was discovered following routine FSIS testing of finished poultry products, which returned positive results for Listeria monocytogenes. Subsequent investigations identified the ready-to-eat BrucePac chicken as the contamination source.
To date, FSIS has not received any confirmed reports of illnesses related to the consumption of these products.
Listeriosis, a serious infection caused by ingesting food tainted with Listeria monocytogenes, can lead to invasive listeriosis when the bacteria spread beyond the intestines to other body parts, as per CDC information.
In August, Boar’s Head, a company renowned for its long-standing reputation, was associated with a nationwide meat recall for similar reasons.
In Europe, it’s the same tune:
In just one month, the listeriosis epidemic has spread globally throughout the summer. The withdrawal of 10 million pounds of food from shelves is a significant scale of action.
The technical details of how this is accomplished remain unknown. It could be as fanciful as an emigrant contaminating food at manufacturing plants, or as sinister as agents from epidemic surveillance coercing managers to find listeria in products, even suggesting it could be found in the fuel tanks of Elon Musk’s spacecraft returning from Mars.
There are numerous methods for product withdrawal. It is likely that the USA and Europe will adopt more stringent measures, as it is not feasible for private businesses to be overwhelmed by a single type of microbe.
The end goal of these developments seems to be a well-known scenario – the Third Horseman of the Apocalypse, symbolizing a severe scarcity where a small amount of wheat costs a denarius (approximately $200 per kilogram of bread).
The belief that Jesus will return soon is prevalent, with some thinking we are in the final moments before this event. It is said that there will be a rise in conflicts, a widespread epidemic, and even a large asteroid impacting Earth. Reports of increased alien sightings and unusual aerial phenomena are expected to become more common.
Following the rapture, as described by some, those left behind will face the implementation of the mark of the beast. The Antichrist will allegedly deceive many regarding the sudden disappearance of a multitude after the rapture. It is theorized that drones will seek out individuals who lack this mark. The mark is speculated to be linked with Neuralink, and Starlink satellites are believed to play a significant role in this system, rather than 5G technology.
During the great tribulation, it is said that individuals will be mandated to worship the Antichrist in a designated temple every Friday, with the alternative being execution.
