Klaus Swab warns: A new cyberpandemic will make Covid-19 look like a “small hindrance”

Klaus Swab warns: A new cyberpandemic will make Covid-19 look like a "small hindrance" 1

For the past two years, humanity has been facing the coronavirus pandemic, due to which human freedoms have been violated and authoritarian measures have been implemented that a few years ago no one could have imagined.

But some are already preparing for the next pandemic.

Bill Gates recently announced that he was preparing a team of 3,000 scientists to deal with the next pandemic, while the president of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Swab, also spoke about a “cyberpandemic”.

We found a 2020 speech by Klaus Schwab at the WEF site.

Here is what, in particular, the founder of the Davos World Economic Forum said then. He talked about a pandemic that will make the coronavirus look like a “small hindrance”.

“We all know this, but still not enough attention is paid to the frightening scenario of a comprehensive cyber attack that will lead to a complete failure in the energy supply, the transport system, the operation of hospitals, our society as a whole.

In this context, the Covid-19 crisis will seem like a small hindrance compared to this massive cyberattack.

Therefore, there is no doubt that building digital trust and a secure internet for the global economy is one of the key challenges that no country or company can solve alone.

This requires a global response with active private and public cooperation.

The Covid-19 crisis should be seen as a timely opportunity to reflect on cybersecurity, society, control, and how to improve our preparedness for a potential cyber pandemic.”

Another ominous prediction was recently made by “futurist” billionaire Bill Gates

He warned of  pandemics far worse than the coronavirus and called on governments to contribute billions of dollars to the preparations for the next wave.

The billionaire said that although the Omicron and Delta variants of the coronavirus were some of the most contagious in history, the world could face a virus that would cause much more serious illness and more deaths.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the UK Wellcome Trust offer $ 300 million to the Epidemic Readiness Innovation Coalition (CEPI), a key partner in the Covax mechanism that provides access to C-19 vaccines in developing countries around the world.

CEPI is trying to raise $ 3.5 billion, as it aims to reduce the time it takes to develop a new vaccine to just 100 days.

The world’s priorities are “strange”

Gates argued that  the world’s priorities are “strange” and that it is up to philanthropists and governments of rich countries to address inequalities  in vaccination.

“We are talking about spending billions (dollars) to save tens of billions of lives and save trillions of financial losses,” Gates said.

He added that many of the innovations to prepare for a future pandemic would also be useful in tackling the world’s existing health problems, such as developing a vaccine for HIV and improving vaccines for tuberculosis and malaria.

We need bigger stocks next time

Gates noted that the two major sponsors of vaccine development during the Covid-19 pandemic, CEPI and the US government , have been bold, risking huge sums.

He acknowledged, however, that much needed to be done to increase stocks so that everyone could be vaccinated.

“With the money they risked, the clinical trials were performed.
So it was a huge benefit for the whole world. We are wiser today. And we need bigger stocks next time,” said Bill Gates.

In general, either we like it or not we can say that clear parallels arise with the  “Event 201 exercises, which were held in October 2019 at the site of the same WEF, where the scenario of a strike against all of humanity was worked out – a new terrible coronavirus strain.
