“I’ve seen what heaven looks like,” recounts geologist Arthur Jensen of his near-death experience

"I've seen what heaven looks like," recounts geologist Arthur Jensen of his near-death experience 1

“I used to mock believers, viewing them as small-minded individuals clinging to faith. Yet, my perspective shifted after an accident in August 1932, where I encountered a near-death experience that revealed the afterlife to me. Witnessing what paradise might be, I felt compelled to share my experience upon returning to life. Now, I find myself the subject of ridicule and criticism, particularly from the church,” recounted geologist Arthur Jensen.

Arthur Jensen’s recollections of the afterlife were not met with criticism by all. As interest in his story grew over time, Jensen decided to document and publish an account of his experiences. His work is captivating not merely for the experiences he describes but also for the answers he provides to questions he encountered beyond. These include insights on the structure of the world and the existence of a Creator.

“I remembered that this is my real home”

The account of Arthur Yensen’s near-death experience was released in 1955, starting with a vivid depiction of his out-of-body departure:

“I started to feel as though I was detaching from my body, despite previously believing that I was my body. It appeared to me that complete separation would mean death. Suddenly, something inside me broke, and I found myself floating out of my body through the crown of my head.

Arthur Jensen started his ascent. Before long, he had climbed so high that the land below nearly vanished from sight, and a new realm began to emerge. This realm grew brighter and more tangible by the moment.

Arthur Jensen discovered himself in a stunning meadow. In the distance, he spotted two towering mountains, their summits blanketed in snow, while their flanks boasted flora of unspeakable splendor. To Jensen, it appeared that the mountains were dozens of kilometers away, yet he could discern every single flower adorning their slopes.

Arthur Jensen remarked, “For some reason, my eyesight has become a hundred times better. While exploring the twin mountains, I heard a song. Beyond the trees, there appeared to be people engaged in some sort of game.”

Shortly after, a number of individuals from the group approached Jensen with greetings. Visually, none appeared older than twenty or thirty. Arthur Jensen was captivated by their fluid, effortless movements.

A stranger revealed to Jensen that he had entered the land of the dead. He elaborated on the remarkable talents possessed by its inhabitants. For instance, they never experience fatigue and have the ability to swim in mountain lakes, emerging completely dry.

“Glancing around, I was struck by a sense of familiarity with this place. It’s possible I had been here before. Then, an epiphany hit me. I realized this was my true home. In my earthly existence, I was merely a visitor. In the world I had departed, I was a stranger yearning for home,” Arthur Jensen recounted his emotions.

While at home, Jensen gained considerable knowledge and recollection about the afterlife’s structure. For instance, he comprehended why this realm is eternal. It is due to the fact that its elements do not blend and decay as they do in our mortal existence. An omnipresent supervibration maintains each element, ensuring that objects from the afterlife neither age nor deteriorate.

Arthur Jensen’s question about whether there is a God, and what He is like

In communication with the afterlife, Arthur Jensen inquired about the actions one should take in their earthly existence to ensure a better place in the hereafter. The response was:

“After earthly life concludes, souls are categorized by their vibrations—high or low. High vibrations suggest that an individual engaged in numerous good deeds, was altruistic, and spiritually advanced. Conversely, low vibrations suggest a life focused solely on fulfilling personal desires. Following this categorization, souls will reside in the corresponding planes, with the lower ones being referred to as ‘hell’ on Earth.”

Arthur Jensen inquired of his new acquaintances about the nature of the lower planes, a realm where cold dominates. Coldness is a state of matter characterized by an absence of molecular movement. Similarly, the lower planes are said to be populated by souls resonating with slow vibrations, such as hatred, greed, and schadenfreude.

“Arthur Jensen recounted a tale from a stranger who claimed to have ventured into the nether realms. He described the place as dark, cold, and terrifying, inhabited by souls clinging to their earthly desires, yet incapable of fulfilling them. These souls, he said, are in dire need of assistance, as they cannot aid themselves.”

Jensen posed another question to the afterlife’s inhabitants about the nature of God. Yet, no one could answer because they had not seen Him. Jensen’s new friends mentioned feeling only a powerful vibration, which they believed was part of God. This vibration, they said, governs the entire universe and ensures its order.

Arthur Jensen understood that comprehending God required one to be as immense as He is. Some have faith in God, while others do not. However, in times of trouble, we often pray as though He exists, observed Jensen.

In his dialogue with the afterlife residents, Arthur Jensen’s thoughts became more lucid. He acknowledged that everything in life serves a purpose, a reminder he received there. When one conversant told him he must return to his earthly existence, Jensen was outraged. He pleaded for permission to remain.

“Nevertheless, my protests had no impact on the decision that had been made. The final words from my conversational partners were that significant tasks awaited me on Earth. One mentioned a period of immense turmoil where many would require my guidance. They assured me that once my earthly duties were fulfilled, I could return to that splendid realm to remain. Shortly after, I awoke in my body,” is how Arthur Jensen recounted the conclusion of his afterlife odyssey.
