According to highly reliable sources at the Vatican, Jorge Mario Bergoglio announced his decision to step down in December. The news appeared on 23 August in Rome on the front page of the Libero Newspaper in an article written by Antonio Socci.
The source quoted by the newspaper is il Sismografo, a highly influential and authoritative blog that is published by anonymous members of the Vatican Secretary of State. While the three-page article in Libero is full of speculation, the news boils down to just one thing: a voluntary retirement for health reasons on his 85th birthday.
Lately, here in Italy, there have been rumors about whether Bergoglio has cancer or is dying from the effects of wax. Above is a photo of the very front page of the Libero newspaper.
If Bergoglio resigns and the cardinals call a conclave, disorder in the Vatican is guaranteed, since there are already 2 to 3 applicants for the papacy, as in 1046. The only thing I can say is: God help us!
The Libero article shown above says he “may resign,” while the il Sismografo report says that Bergoglio has expressed a “desire” to resign. So the news is not as bright or dark as it might seem.
The medieval prophet Saint Malachy, who, as they say, back in the 12th century, made a prophecy about the Popes. Pope Francis, judging by this prophecy, is the last one:
On the subject of whether Francis is Peter, the conspiracy theorists are still arguing and there is no consensus. There is a version that the real Pope is still Benedict XVI, who lives in isolation in Germany, there is a version that Rome is ruled by a secret council of cardinals, in which the main name is Peter, and Francis is just a sign.
There are a number of other theories, however, whichever of them is correct, Francis’s departure from office will mean the fulfillment of the prophecy and the beginning of the countdown to the End of the World.
