In a Rare Case of the Lazarus Syndrome, a Woman is Declared Dead Twice

“The man who had been dead came out with his hands and feet bound in strips of linen, and his face wrapped in a headcloth.”
John 11:44

That biblical passage comes from the story of Lazarus, who was brought back to life after being declared dead and buried four days before. Lazarus thus lent his name to any circumstance involving a person being brought back to life after being declared dead by a doctor or another person who knows the signs of death. While it’s popular in movie plots and novels, the so-called Lazarus Syndrome is extremely rare – only 37 cases have been verified worldwide since 1982.

Make that 38.

The Raising of Lazarus

“The patient was certified dead at 10.30pm in GMSH.”

Dr. Dasari Harish, head of the forensic medicine department at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH)-32, told the Times of India that the case was discussed at a recent conference. Doctors at the Government Multispecialty Hospital (GMSH)-16 in Chandigarh (a city and a union territory in northern India) declared a 45-year-old female patient dead due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease – an inflammatory lung condition that obstructs breathing. Dr. Harish says the doctors followed proper protocols when determining the time of death at 10.30 pm and placed what they thought was a corpse in an ambulance three hours later to be transported to the home of her relatives for the funeral. However, “signs of vitality were noticed by the relatives while transporting her body,” said Harish.

Uh-oh.

“They immediately unpacked her and brought to our hospital at 5:58 am. We were not even informed that she had already been declared dead by the previous hospital. After resuscitation and treatment, she was declared dead at 7:30 am in GMCH.”

As Dr. Harish pointed out, the woman had been declared officially dead by other doctors following proper protocols. Yes, doctors have been known to close ranks when controversy occurs, but the Lazarus Syndrome muddies the saline solution here. According to a US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health report, the Lazarus syndrome or Lazarus heart or ‘autoresuscitation after failed cardiopulmonary resuscitation’, is the “the unassisted return of spontaneous circulation after cardiac arrest.” There is some thought that the heart could be stopped by pressure built up during cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the heart may start beating again after the pressure is relieved. According to the Emergency Medicine Journal, it may also occur due to high doses or adrenaline (epinephrine) or the recreational ingestion of high doses of heroin and ecstasy. It doesn’t appear that any of these were the case with the poor woman in India. So, what caused this 38th case of the Lazarus Syndrome?

“We found it evidently as the first case of Lazarus phenomena from India. There are no certain reasons, but it is believed that some lifesaving drugs giving for resuscitation have a prolonged effect and perhaps rarely some patients can again come back to life and die again within 2-3 hours.”

Needless to say, that ambulance will have plenty of lawyers chasing it from now on.

A chicken in Brazil laid an egg with a text message

This happened in the municipality of Ceará, Brazil. According to reymisterios.com, a stunned farmer named Raimundo Aluceno came to the local newspaper and demanded that the jounalists send the best scientists to the poultry farm. The reason for this was one of his birds, which laid a somewhat abnormal egg.

Raimundo has long been engaged in his business and has seen everything. But for the chicken to lay an egg with some mysterious symbols – this is what he sees for the first time.

First, our hero shared the discovery with his neighbors, who, too, were stunned. Then at a meeting of the villagers, it was decided to send Raimundo to the scientists to explain this strange phenomenon.

Unfortunately, he did not reach the scientists, however, the TV channel Monólitos, broadcasting in Portuguese, became interested in the incident. The journalists went to the place and checked everything, after which they took a short interview from Raimundo.

The egg turned out to be real, not fake, and now no one knows how to interpret this event. The opinions of people are divided.

So, many people think that aliens are to blame for everything, since Brazil is a continuous anomalous zone. But why did aliens need this? Is this some kind of joke or message left to people?

On the other hand, many see the divine sign in everything. Moreover, since the symbols more closely resemble to numbers, not letters, believers see this as the date of prophecy about the Apocalypse.

The situation with this egg is funny on one hand, and not on the the other. Why it is not funny can be understood if we recall that many cultures of the world are engaged in coloring eggs – they draw some patterns, inscriptions and so on.

All this, of course, could be some kind of witchcraft, whose roots go back to times about which nothing is known. But, apparently, there was some reason for the ancient people to make inscriptions on chicken eggs.

Maybe the ancients really had some sacred birds through which some forces transmitted messages to people, painting something on the shell. Then the messages ceased and the people themselves began to draw some patterns, repeating a forgotten ritual.

If this assumption is correct, then probably these ancient and forgotten times are returning and now many birds in the world will be carrying some quotes and valuable advice, so we follow the development of events.

Strange multi-colored flashes in the night sky of Ohio still have not received a logical explanation

These strange multi-colored flashes in the night sky were shot last Sunday by an outdoor surveillance camera installed on a house in Bethel, Ohio.

The population of the town is only a little more than 2700 people and of course in such a small settlement there are no large stadiums, night clubs with spotlights and other institutions that could theoretically be involved in these bright flashes of light.

In addition to the camera, outbreaks were personally observed by the owners of the house on which this camera was installed. Tim Walker and his daughter Carolyn took up garbage collection late at night and literally froze in place when they saw colorful flashes that lit up the night sky.

The flashes lasted only a few seconds, and then stopped, but when the father and daughter went further along the road, the night sky again lit up with a bright flash. That is, if this happened intermittently, then this is clearly not a falling meteorite.

However, no one knows what it could still be , although news of these strange outbreaks soon appeared in many media. None of the logical versions could explain where these reddish-orange-pink-violet flashes came from.

According to Carolyn, at first she thought that something big had exploded there and felt very anxious. However, no loud sounds were heard.

And according to Tim Walker, what he saw reminded him of the explosions of shells that he saw while serving in the army. Except that here all this was completely soundless.

In the following days, reporters asked the local police and the Clermont County Emergency Department, to which the town belongs, but could not explain anything there. Also, nothing is said about whether it could be an accident on power lines or any substation.

The first gravitational wave came from the Betelgeuse star to Earth

Since the fall of 2019, when Betelgeuse, a star in the constellation Orion, began to show signs of an imminent transformation into a supernova, hundreds, if not thousands of astronomical instruments were sent to this region of the sky. The main ones are gravity telescopes and neutrino detectors, some of which can be viewed by a simple online search.

With neutrinos, everything is more or less normal, but on January 14, gravitational telescopes recorded the first gravitational anomaly that came from the Betelgeuse region:

When this area is observed under a higher resolution, two anomalies are discovered and Betelgeuse is located between them approximately in the middle:

Astronomers do not know how to interpret this data, since gravitational waves are a concept no less dark than dark matter. In theory, this is a kind of ripple of space-time, which appears during the collision of very large objects – neutron stars and black holes.

For the first time, gravitational waves were discovered just in 2015, so the devices for recording them leave much to be desired. Their accuracy  is doubtful, there are often glitches, therefore, to say that the source of the anomaly is the area in the Betelgeuse region, and not at the star itself, is under question.

In addition, the propagation velocity of gravitational waves is unknown. According to one theory, these waves propagate at the speed of light. In this case, astronomers now see the perturbation of space-time in the region of the star, which occurred 700 years ago.

However, according to another theory, gravitational waves propagate instantly and astronomers are now observing the perturbation of space-time in the Betelgeuse region, which occurs in real time.

However, whichever of the theories is correct, in any case, the space around Betelgeuse is deformed right now. Not very important – it was deformed 700 years ago or yesterday. the main thing is that there is deformation. And since there is a deformation, it means that there is no longer the Betelgeuse red supergiant, but a neutron star or a black hole – the theory does not know other reasons for space-time deformations.

Nevertheless, according to the same theory, a black hole / neutron star appears only as a result of the collapse of a supernova nucleus, therefore, the news that Betelgeuse has become a supernova light will come to us in the very near future.

We don’t even know that this will begin, but we are following with interest the development of events: the deformation of spacetime accompanying the explosion may turn out to be such that the sky simply “curls up into a scroll”.
