Heavy hail falls on cyclists and spectators of the Critérium du Dauphiné in France 1

The finish of the 2nd stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné was disrupted by the strongest hail, when the athletes drove to the finish line at the top of the Col de Port and crowds of people stood along the road. Cyclists and spectators were injured from the hail blows.

Primos Roglik his wife and small child are forced to seek refuge in the car of Cyclingnews TV reporters. The ceremony was interrupted after the roof collapsed when Egan Bernal received the white jersey of the best young rider.

Tim Declercq posted on Instagram a photo of horrible looking scars on his back after being hit by hail, while B&B Hotels-Vital Concept neo-pro Maxime Chevalier suffered a similar injury.
