A slimy video posted on YouTube shows a disturbing bunch of pulsating brown sacs lining a sewer in North Carolina, that seem to coil back when exposed to light. Are these a new type of mutant civilization breeding under the grounds of North Carolina?
The first video was posted on YouTube in 2009 by a mysterious source, but has now been taken off. Luckily, by the time it was removed, the video was already cloned by several websites. This one is courtesy of Paranormics.
Anyway, so the reason behind the resurfacing of this video is a confession from a spokesperson for Malphrus Construction to Daily Mail, claiming that this video was captured by this famous construction firm in 1949:
“We were asked by our client to inspect the sewer lines, which were built in 1949, because the sewers are so old there were many infrastructure issues.”
The sacs are brown, slimy, pulsating and responsive to light. Ed Buchan, environmental coordinator at the Raleigh Public Utilities Department, states that this is nothing but a colony of worms, probably annelid worms, that washed into the gutters from the roots they attached to. However, the theory is in dispute.
