The Dendera Zodiac is an ancient astronomical map that contains all the information necessary to calculate the “journey” of the Earth from one sign of the zodiac to another during the 25920 years of the precessional cycle.
The Zodiac of Dendera (or “Dendara”) is a giant stone diagram from a temple in Egypt dating to the mid-1st century BC. e., which depicts the twelve signs of the zodiac and 36 Egyptian decans, as well as a number of other constellations and astronomical phenomena.
The temple complex that housed this zodiac is of Egyptian origin, dating back to at least the 4th century BC, with the last indigenous Egyptian pharaoh Nectanebo II, and it appears to have been periodically renovated and added to by later Hellenistic and Roman rulers in Egypt.
In 1821, the Egyptian ruler Mohammed Ali Pasha allowed the Dendera Zodiac to be transported to France. The artifact arrived the following year and is housed today in the Louvre. The Dendera zodiac represents one of the earliest evidence of a synthesis of the Mesopotamian and Egyptian astrological systems that took place in Egypt at some point in the 2nd or 1st centuries BC. e. And in this synthesis, although human, another Plan shines brightly, although with pagan names.
As with any zodiac or star chart, the cardinal axes must be specified to give us a reference point. These are the equinox and solstice lines, which always show us the 4 directions of the compass – north, south, east and west. Let’s take a closer look at these axes.
The annual cycle of the Sun through the 12 houses of the ecliptic and the interaction of the constellations, conveying a specific, easily readable message – a universal message among all peoples of a Savior born of the Virgin, defeating the Dragon, dying on the cross and rising to life again. Atheists tried to explain this by saying that Christianity “stole” all these myths from various cultures, but the truth is that God gave all nations the Star Gospel – the Great History that was fulfilled in Christ Jesus, and which the Magi and astrologers who came to worship were able to recognize baby Jesus.
This record of the movement of the Sun and constellations represents one level of truth as presented in the Celestial Gospel, but there are others. It is common knowledge today that the ancient Egyptians also knew of the slower precession of the equinoxes, reflecting knowledge of the longer, counterclockwise motion of the Sun along the ecliptic. The Dendera zodiac represents proof of this, confirming the themes already expressed in the annual cycle of the Sun.
So, in short, the change of constellations in which the time of the equinoxes falls prophetically marks the change of the main eras in God’s plan for the salvation of mankind, recorded in Heaven. The precessional movement of the Sun is determined by the sign of the Zodiac in which it rises on the day of the vernal equinox. For the last 2000+ years this point has been in Pisces and we are now in the final years of the Age of Pisces according to the precessional movement of the Sun.
The following chart shows how the precessional eras relate to the biblically prophesied eras, demonstrating the progressive development of God’s plan as it unfolds. This provides the overarching context for the plan of redemption and restoration of mankind through the redemptive work of Christ, the central Figure of these Hours of the Ages.

Pisces: Christ/Grace/Revelation Approx. 3 BC – Matt. 3:11, etc.
Aquarius: The Kingdom of the People of Saints. Around 2025 AD Daniel 7:27, etc.
Of course, it is impossible to indicate the exact date of the beginning of the Age of Aquarius; scientists are still debating whether it has begun, will begin soon, or whether humanity is currently living in an era of “transition period.” Most of the astrological community, however, agrees that the transition to the Age of Aquarius will end around 2024-25, when, in addition to the main planets of the solar system, Pluto will also move into the sign of Aquarius.
This march of precessional epochs is recorded on the Dendera zodiac through the relationship of the axes built into its structure. The main axes of the Dendera zodiac are indicated in the above figure. Enormous work on the study of these axes was carried out by Schwaller de Lubich, who shows the coordination of the precession of the poles with the precession of the equinoxes. As the pole star moves away from the star Thuban (Alpha Draconis) towards the present pole, in Polaris Ursa Minor (the little bear) in the center of the graph we can see the corresponding precessional epochs/years BC marked on the outer circle.
The fact that the ancient Egyptians recognized these two poles and their very relationship indicates that they were aware of the phenomena of precession. The biblical archaeo-astronomical approach to this subject will, in a sense, be divided by the symbolic details associated with the idols of the Egyptian Star Religion, which distorted the original unity they shared with other Star Names.
Astrology has had a huge distorting influence on the idea of the precession of the equinoxes. By idolizing the signs of the zodiac and blurring the connection between the shorter clockwise solar cycles and the much longer counterclockwise solar cycles, astrology not only lacks the ability to accurately discern when one precessional epoch ends and a new epoch begins, but also lacks a clear understanding of relationships between them. No astrologer today can agree on when these two zodiacs were first aligned, so to speak, “in sync.”
The annual solar year becomes meaningless without the context of the stellar background of the sidereal zodiac. On the other hand, a very long sidereal zodiac is not applicable to people’s daily lives, which are associated with a shorter annual solar cycle. As shown in the above diagram, while the biblical administrations are associated with these celestial zodiacs along with the corresponding precessional eras, their biblical meaning is clarified and the purpose of Heaven in God’s Plan for the ages is revealed.
Once we accept the understanding and perspective in the context of God’s Plan for the coming of the Desire of Ages (Christ), we will discover the divine perspective that was hidden under the rubble of man’s decrepit idols in ancient history. When we recognize the story of the Redeemer written in heaven that underlies all cultural myths about heaven, we can unearth the original mysteries and original symbolic truths of the heavenly gospel in every culture, thereby deciphering the world monomyth.
We, of course, would not risk referring to such a source as the ancient Dendera zodiac in search of the time of the appearance of the Forerunner – we would not risk it if it were the only voice. But this voice is far from the only one.
Malachi prophesied that before the Messiah’s birth His Forerunner would appear, and would indicate His coming. The Jews therefore in awaiting the Messiah also awaited the appearance of His Forerunner.
We have already reviewed many independent prophecies pointing to 2025 as the time of the appearance of the anointed one and the Dendera Zodiac is another unexpected witness. Until now, its axes have shifted when a new epochal period began in God’s Plan, indicated by numerous prophecies.
Until now, everything has gone according to Plan but the most interesting thing will happen before our eyes, soon.
