On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization announced the so-called Great Pandemic, around which everyone ran until the Russians decided to invade Ukraine. And then, against the background of the prospects of the Third World War, the pandemic somehow faded into the background.
However, time is moving forward and September 11 will be exactly 3.5 years since the declaration of this global health emergency.
Since the situation in the world during the pandemic had no precedent in the 20th century and, most likely, in earlier centuries (people were first forced to stay at home under siege, then they were not allowed to go to shops and work, forcing them to be treated), Christians immediately remembered the book of the prophet Daniel, its second part, where revelations were given about the Last Days:
“At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered.
Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.
Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.“
The 1290 and 1335 day periods described by Daniel, as well as other important time periods mentioned in the Bible (1260 days, 2300 evenings and mornings, seventy weeks) have long been the subject of interest of end time researchers and believers.
In general terms, the eschatological theory boils down to the fact that the world should collapse in 7 years, which will be divided into two intervals of 3.5 years. The last 3.5 years are described as the Great Tribulation, when it will be as catastrophic for countries and people as it has never been before, although there are interpretations that all seven years will be the same Great Tribulation. That is, it will be hard for the full 7 years.
End time researchers have long seen how the prophecies of the End Times come true (hails and famines, wars and rumors of wars, the greening of deserts, the awakening of the Dead Sea to life, and so on), but all these are small signs of the End of the World. The big sign was the pandemic, during which it seemed to many that the prophecy about the seals had come true.
And if this is so, if the prophecy has come true, then the beginning of the pandemic can well be considered the day of the beginning of the Great Tribulation. Accordingly, on September 11, 2023, exactly half of this period predicted by Daniel will pass, after which countries and people will have to toil for another 3.5 years. And against their background, the period 03/11/20 – 09/11/23 will seem like a pleasure trip.
There is also a more optimistic point of view, according to which the period 03/11/20 – 09/11/23 is the second, most severe half of the last week, we simply did not notice the first 3.5 years. In this case, on September 11, everything will end and life will get better. Countries and people have to endure a little more than a month, after which everything will change for the better right by magic.
For example, the Jews will demolish the “abomination of desolation” and build in its place something else that has always been there. Or Artificial Intelligence will take power into its own hands, deal with Bill Gates and other effective managers, tattooing them on their foreheads and doing something useful in the Skynet labor camps. Alternatively, good aliens could arrive or vice versa – chaotically evil.
Is it possible to believe the ancient books at all, since for thousands of years the Bible, the Torah, and the Koran could have been corrected by some evil forces? And were there any millennia at all? The world is full of ruins and other technological artifacts that speak of some great catastrophe that destroyed the Earth only 400-500 years ago.
These are all very complex questions, to which no one knows the exact answers. However, if researchers think more or less correctly, then on September 11, 2023, some significant events will certainly occur that will shift the world either for the better or for the worse. That is, either the period of suffering assigned to people will end, or the second season will begin for 3.5 years.
Moreover, March 11, 2020 is only the official start of the pandemic, a statement of fact. But in fact, pestilence began in China back in December 2019, and in January 2020, the whole world was already watching weather services that displayed the release of organic gases from the mass burning of bodies in China. And in February, the pandemic began clearly a little earlier than officially.
Therefore, the first or second part of the 3.5 years do not necessarily have a border on September 11th. In the next month and a half, the transition between the halves of the cycle can happen literally on any day, the time limit for the onset of the pandemic is blurred.
